OLD BUSINESS: Matt was nominated by Mike to be the secretary next year. He was officially voted in today. He is replacing Linda, who’s been on this post for 3 years.
NEW BUSINESS: 1) Water Chemistry Class is on 11/15 at AleCraft at 6:30PM presented by Art.
2) Xmas Party is on 12/2 at 6PM. Sign-up on Slack as to who’s coming and what they will bring.
3) Guild Xmas Party is on 12/3. Tickets $25 and info posted on Slack.
OCTOBER 2022 MINUTES OLD BUSINESS:
We had 3 events since last month: the Cookout, Chains and Grains and Friendship Fest. They all went well.
NEW BUSINESS:
OLD BUSINESS: 1) August Social was at 5th Company. Open concept brewery, full kitchen, beer wall, very nice place.
2) AleCraft Education Series: Marc and Mike presented recipe creation. Mediocre turnout but Erin did very good with setup. Next is Art’s water class in November.
3) MD State Fair: our Schroedinger’s Cup took first place in its category. Mark and Mike took 2nd place in their category for their dark ale.
OLD BUSINESS: 1) LABS was at Matt’s on British Milds. Good turnout. Next is hosted by Art. George H offered to host WheatWine sometime this spring.
2) AleCraft HomeBrew Social: couple of members attended on Friday. First Fridays of each month at 7PM in the homebrew store.
OLD BUSINESS: 1) HomeBrewcon: quite a few members attended it in Pittsburgh last month, great event, well executed. Lots of info, several seminars worth checking out. Good beer, great city. Next year in San Diego.
2) AleCraft HomeBrew Social: Marc attended on Friday, beer was good, short meeting about 1 hour. This is for people interested in brewing but not ready for the club. Fridays at 7PM.
