About Us

The Libation Association of Northern Maryland Homebrew Club was established in 1992 and has been growing ever since. We currently hold meetings in the Bel Air, Maryland area once a month. At these meetings prospective members are always invited to attend as our guest. This gives you chance to meet some of us and see what goes on at a meeting.

At the meetings we usually bring along some of our homebrew to drink and share with our fellow members. This offers a unique opportunity to try many different styles of beer without having to make them. If you are currently brewing or making wine then bring some along with you. This will let you get some constructive feedback to use in future brews.

Hello. Thinking about attending the next meeting. I just made an Irish Red Ale, can I bring a sample?

Sounds great Dave, we’d love you to bring a sample. At each meeting we usually have some samples and discussion, please bring your recipe in case there’s a question, hope to see you then.

Very interested in attending a meeting. I have been brewing for about 2 years now (Beer, mead, cider, wine, soda), with mixed results; all extract and specialty grains. Looking to be part of a homebrew club. I want to make the jump to all-grain brewing and need some help getting started. Reading is easy, but I really need an expert to show me how it’s done.

Hi Ryan, we have a number of all grain brewers at the club and a wealth of homebrewing knowledge between all the members. There’s always somebody brewing so I’m sure we can get you the opportunity to tag along on an all grain session and see how it’s done. We have all levels from brew in a bag to elaborate brew rigs!

Drop on in for the next meeting.
